Jordan Westburg Remains Out on Monday
Jordan Westburg (finger) remains out of the starting lineup for Monday's series opener against the visiting Texas Rangers at Camden Yards. Ramon Urias will start at the hot corner and will bat fifth against Rangers left-hander Patrick Corbin. Westburg suffered a sprained left index finger on Saturday and was still sore and unable to fully grip a bat on Sunday, so he'll be missing his second straight game to begin the new week. According to interim manager Tony Mansolino, the team is hopeful that the 26-year-old can return to the lineup in the next two to three days. After a breakout season in 2024 in which he was a first-time All-Star, it's been a disappointing season in 2025 due to injuries. Westburg does have seven homers in 34 games, but he's hitting just .229 (30-for-131). Urias has hit .333 with two RBI in a small sample size of six career at-bats against Corbin.
